    French Revolution
    I am writing an essay on the French Revolution, and determining whether it was a success or not.. The textbook I am using is "The Western Heritage" second edition. I am having a problem breaking down the analysis is parts. Can someone please help me?

    Marites,

    I'm not very good at history but I would need to know a couple of things.

    Firstly, what level are you writing at, i.e. school or university?

    Secondly, it is very important you define, 'success' Are you going to talk about cultural, social, political, or economic success? Are you going to talk about all three? As I am not a history person perhaps you want to talk about a different aspect I have not mentioned?

    When it comes to essay writing it is important to know exactly what you are going to talk about and the best place to set the tone for this is the introduction.
