    Need an answer soon should I take divorce? Or give him last chance?
    Salam Alekum
    I am a married woman for 23yrs our marriage was love marriage and we are cousins my mother and his mother are blood sisters, we fought with the world to get each other, but unfortunately he betrayed me? Many times he had an affair I caught him talking on the phone I forgave him and start living nicely then again he did and I forgave him and now before 1 and half year he decided to marry my niece as my sister have cancer and her daughter's proposal comes and ends up with nothing, so he felt pitty on her and he thought I will also agree as I love them, but when I rejected he promised me that its over he sent message to her saying its over and you are like my daughter, then after some months I caught him again talking he said nothing between me and her, I also forgave him and then recently I saw his mobile bill he talks with her more than 10 times a day. He says he loves me a lot and can't live without me I am his 1st love, and he is not ready for a divorce what can I do now to believe him again I can't as I feel again he ll do and asks for apologize, Now what you suggest me to do as I told him I want divorce I can't stay with a cheater please help me take a correct decision as I'm in tense and can't sleep.. please advice

    What does your faith tell you about divorce? From your greeting Im thinking your muslim. Are there specific rules that may allow you to divorce? If there are then he has destroyed the foundation of trust your marriage was built on. And he has been given chances to repent. Yet he continues. You can't and shouldn't live like that. But you are the one that must live out your life and the choice comes to you and you alone. If it were me and in the same situation I would seek divorce as there are many others that are faithful to their partners for a lifetime. Blessings to you and Im sorry for my ignorance of your religion.

    He may not be ready for a divorce, but he is not ready to be faithful either. You gave him enough chances to be a good husband and he keeps blowing it. Divorce him.
