    Divorcing. What is my debt responsibility if I am on the deed but not the mortgage?
    Neither of us will remain in the house. Considering that presently this ia a buyers market and not a sellers, we more than likely will take a hit on the balance owed. So, specifically, what is my responsibility to the debt?

    If you are not "on" the mortgage, you are not responsible for the debt. However, as part of the divorce it is possible that you can be required to assume responsibility.
