OK so I broke it off with this guy because he got super clingy after just two weeks always calling me and telling me he missis me and stuff and after we broke it off he left me alone, but here recently I have moved in with my new boyfriend and this guy is always telling my co-worker how he can't wait for us to break up so I can finally be with him again. He is constantly talking to my co worker about me and is getting mad at him when he brings up the fact that I am in another relationship now. Then two nights ago someone broke into our house. Thinking it was our roommate and he had just forgotten his key we didn't do anything, but who ever it was had tried to break into our room which was locked. Later the next day we realized after talking with our roommate that he didn't come home that night and that this person had broken in through the garage. Nothing was taken but the fact that whoever it was came straight for my room scares me and makes me think its my ex. Am I overracting or am I being stalked?

Have you gone to the police about the break in yet? Or talked to them about this guy?

There really is a fine line between taking time getting over someone and when it becomes stalking them... and its hard to tell when its crossed sometimes.

If it was him that broke in... that lines most definitely been crossed.

My mom works for the cops and I am going up the after work and this guy is bi polar and sometimes doesn't take his meds that was one of the other reasons I broke it off but my mom said if he hasn't contacted me and if nothing was taken there is nothing we can really do I just feel like I'm being watched or followed here the pass couple weeks and this guy is talking about me to my co worker non stop and keeps saying things like he knows more about me then I think he does and that me and my boyfriend won't last and I will be his girl again and crepper stuff like that I just don't really feel like I can't keep him from me but he hasn't contacted me yet I don't know I don't feel like its just paranoia (spelt wrong probably)

Let me see. You've got an ex boyfriend and somebody breaks in. You think it's him without ANY proof whatsoever... Yes, I'd say you're over reacting.

At this point you can't assume it was him... in fact its possible something was taken that you haven't noticed yet.

You have to be careful with accusations... they can come back to bite you so its best to not toss them around where it might get back to him. Talking about him if it gets back to him might be misinterpreted as interest. And you don't want that obviously.

Never hurts to be vigilant however. And just because he talks doesn't mean he actually is or will do anything. The person that gets dumped is always the one that takes the longest to get over something. Give it some time... keep your eyes open... but give it some more time... eventually he is going to get over it.
