Baseboard heater, Fixed the Leak, but no heat
As above. The leak was fixed, but there is no response when the thermostat is turned up or down. It is pressurized and the heat can be turned on by pushing the silver switch (in the honeywell silverbox by the cutoff valve (where all the wires are)) toward the wall and jamming something in it to keep it from coming forward and shutting off the water from the boiler. Sorry, but have no knowledge off componets parts. Is there something that I can do myself?

Sound like u need a new thermostat you can check the thermostat by taking the two wire off and put then together and if the boiler come on that the problem. If it does come on and you still have no heat then its air in the line.

Thermostat or safety is not closing its connection, the relay you are playinf with could also be bad, but they don't break very often.
