Okay I need some answers. My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for a few months and the week before Valentines Day (on the 7th) I was experiencing some spotting. (Keep in mind I was due for my period this day)... It lasted about 4 days and it wasn't enough bleeding to fill a tampon. It wasn't even enough to flow out on its own onto a pantyliner, only when I wiped I saw little brownish-red discharge. There was one day I saw a clot or 2 of deep dark red coloring. I don't know what this could mean... Implantation?? A different period??

I took a test on V-Day and it came out negative, but I thought it might have been to soon. When do you think I can take another HPT. If it was just a weird period, I am expecting my next one around March 11th, 2011

Someone help me please...

It is hard to wait, but see what happens when you would expect the next period in March as it could have been just an off cycle. Obviously if no period or it again seems off, try a test at that time.

If you feel as though you could be having possible symptoms before then, you could always try another test sooner.

I do have one more HPT, I was going to try and take it in about a week because I have heard HCG levels are better detected up to a week after implantation. If it's another negative I will most defenitly try one if my period is missed in March.

The reason for my confusion is because my cycle has always been off, but just recently for the past 4-5 months it's been normal and on time. After receiving my cycle for the first time ever, 2 cycles had past then I unexplainably had went almost 2.5 years without a cycle... So now having normal cycles for quite a while and unprotected sex as well, pregnancy has been a considerable red flag. ( Which is a good thing :]
