Child together, never lived together, now breaking up
Ontario. Have a son with my girlfriend, never lived together and never signed because, are breaking up now and she sets the rules for the future, have to pay her money and will have the child 2 days a week, don't think she's the only one to decide, would like to have shared custody so each will support the child those days, can I force her into this? Have no problems to go to court and think its better to put on paper instead verbal arrangements that one or the other can change without others consent.Would like to have some input before I go to court, thanks

Of course you are suppose to go to court, you or her can not just "decide" you go to court, file for what you want and work it out there.

Next also support on days you have them is not the way it works either , things are based on number of days and difference in income and other factors.

Next verbal agreements are not worth the breath you use to say them, and even written agreements not done though courts are nearly worthless, but can be shown in court as what you had agreed to.

Don't fool around with anything other than though court.

Thanks, yes court will be the best but the more I know the better prepared I am, I'm working full time and she is still at home since mid pregnancy, lives with her parents so has no high expenses, receives child support as well. If the number of days in the week are split between parents and one receives child support then the amount of support can't be superhigh, can they? Have a normal job with minimum income and still live at home as well
