Using Belarc Advisor, identify the model number of your motherboard or the PC itself (Dell Dimension e510 etc.) and go to the manufacturers site and download updated drivers for the audio. Before installing the drivers it would be a good idea to look in your add remove programs for any audio driver or motherboard software for the audio, and uninstall it first. Just don't uninstall software unless you download new software too, do the drivers only in that case.
