If I owe a car payment to my finance company and I go out of province for work so that I can make my payments, can I be charged with car theft?

No, your payments are coming out of your bank account where live, right ? You have automatic withdrawal, or you send them payments on time by cheque. It has nothing to do with car theft if you take the car out of province.

How old are you anyway ? Why don't you know this stuff ?

Make your car payments on time and you won't have a problem wherever you live.

I am really ashamed that some people living in Canada don't know what is going on... what province do you live in ?

A simple answer would have been appropriate. The rude comments were not necessary thank you!

Got to agree with Vincent here. Unlike me, most people don't know everything. ;)

Or as good looking as I am

But no, now I would add, that I have seen car sales from many "buy here, pay here" places that in the contract have all sorts of restrictions. Is there anything in the contract restricting anything.
