    How attached a cover to free standing deck
    Currently have a manufactured home with a free standing deck, need to know how with a design to build a free standing cover to the free standing deck.

    By cover do you mean a roof or just something to create some shade? Depending on where you live you will probably need a building permit so call your local building department to inquire.

What would be the best way to secure posts on a two post free standing shade structure? We want to be able to remove and replace posts in case of rot etc. The structure will be 10ft tall, 8ft long, 2ft wide with a roof covered by cloth material. It will be in a high wind area at times.
