In Australia, the welders plug is to big to fit into the house power supply. This is the specs of the welder if this helps,

    -8 Voltage Settings
    -200 Amp Output
    - Welding Current
    - 30 to 200 Amps
    - Spot Weld Timer
    - Fan Cooled
    - Gas/Gasless
    - 300ml Spool Capacity
    - 240 Volt
    - 15 Amp
    - 15% @ 190 Amps Duty Cycle
    - 3m Mig Lead
    - 3m Work Lead
    - Weight: 58kg

You need to add a new point. Since your unit draws 15 amps, you may need a 20 amp point, depending on if any derating is required by Australian electric code.

Here are what the receptacles look like:

    Australian Mains Plug Variants - AS/NZS 3112

I find that You use the Canadian Code, which is very similar to the USA code.

I suspect you need the 20 amp point for a 15 amp welder.
