Connecting a dvd recorder/palyer to my TV and satellite
I have a fairly new TV with all the connections in the back. When I had cable I ran the cable directly to to the rf in and rf out to the TV and three RCA cables out of DVD to AV2 input on TV,I could record and play. Now I got in Direct Tv Sat.So the cable goes into the receiver and HDMI connects that to the TV. So now I can only play dvds I can;'t record. I have run splitter to reviver and dvd and still nothing. The DVD has red/white/yellow out, and the same thing for in plus has blue/green/red the Reciver has green/red/blue as compenet, and red/white/yellow as video out. No matter how I hook it up I can't find channels or record on the DVD. The TV is a Visio and the DVD is Panasonic. I'm going crazy1
    Thanks
