Pipes are frozen, some water came out of hot water, but now I have none
    Hello,
I woke up this morning to frozen pipes, turned on the hot water faucet at our downstairs bathroom. A small flow came out but them quit. I checked around the house, no notice of any water leakage. I then went up to check the hot water tanks, we have 2, seem to be full. The temperature is in the 20's. Suppose to warm up to the mid 40's, will this be warm enough to thaw the area(s) that may be frozen. Should I do anything, like turn off the water to the house? It is suppose to get into the 20's again tonight.
Would appreciate any help with this, my husband is away working. We have also wrapped all the outside spigets.

Sounds like a hot water line froze. Leave water on while you are home. Open each hot water faucet a little bit. When pipe thaws a little water will begin to flow. This will greatly speed up melting the remaining ice. If you leave home turn off water just in case a pipe has burst.
Later when hot water begins to flow, if you hear water running and don't know where it is, turn off water because a pipe has burst.
Tonight leave hot water running just a dribble to prevent freezing againat the sink furtherest from water heater..
