    Decomposition Chemical Reactions
    Can someone please help me balance this equation?
    It is decomposition chemical reaction.

    Beryllium hydroxide ->(yields) Beryllium oxide + hydrogen
    BeOH2 ->(yields) BeO + H2O

    How would I balance out this equation?

    Make one small change in your equation: it's not BeOH2, it is Be(OH)2. I think you will see the answer now.
