HP Pavilion Dv5 freeze up trouble
    Hey!

Just recently every time I would start up my laptop, it would start up slower than normal. Also when I would open up Google chrome or any other program the computer would run really slow and eventually it would freeze. I tried Ctrl+Alt+Delete but nothing pops up. I restarted my laptop several times, took out the battery, and still the problem stands.

Any help would be awesome! :D

Have you done any system maintenance? Purged cache, done cleanip, defrag, etc?

Yea I have. Anyway, I just solved my own problem, I did a quick system restore. It seemed to have fixed the problem. Now I'm just wondering what caused it?

My system does an automatic defrag every Tuesday. And all of the above except for the purged cache

Could be any number of things. The fact that a system restore fixed it indicates something was installed since the restore point was made that caused it.
