this dream has stuck with me all day. Usually my dreams are weird and random and make no sense. This one just really boggled my mind and has bugged me.

I am going to bring it up to my psychiatrist as well. But I was wondering if anyone had an ideas as far as meanings behind it?

it starts in the 'middle' of a story I guess. My whole family is being held captive in a random house I've never seen before, by 3 men. They don't have guns, so I'm not sure why we didn't just run away.

one of the men makes me take my clothing off and molests and rapes me right in front of my family. No one tries to help, no one barely even notices that I could tell. Once he is done, the men move us all to another room, where a family friend (who I loved and wanted to marry when we were chidlren, but as adults we found no interest in eachother) comforted me while I cried with a jacket wrapped around me.

the men leave the house to do something, and I get my sisters phone to dial 911. But the buttons don't work. And it takes me FOREVER to dial 911. By the time the numbers actually go into the phone, the men are coming back and I have to hide it. He finds it, but before he can hit me, there are sirens outside and the cops come to arrest the men.

here is the even freakier part, I actually ADVOCATED for the man who raped me. I tell them 'he isn't that mean or bad, he didn't hurt me, I think he just needs help'!!

on a side note, the cops who came were detective benson and stabler from law and order SVU. I think this is simply because I had watched that show the night before lol.

to answer basic questions, I was raped before, at 11, and by my daughters father at 17-19. No one in my family cared about either, my mother didn't even believe me. I never even told anyone about when I was 11 until I was 20 or so and when I did, they didn't believe me.

I did not know the men.

Jennie, I have had many strange dreams in my life, many of them recurring. One thing I've learned through trying to decipher them, is that they're just dreams.

It's your subconscious, and has no actual bearing on your life. Otherwise I'd really be questioning the dream about me and Vin Diesel. ;)
