Loud new goodman furnace.
I have read that there is some changes that can be made to the ductwork to quiet the train going through my house. I can not replace the unit without huge expense, since I purchased the house from someone else. I called one company and he told me that it was builder basic model and nothing could be done. Is it hopeless?

I recently moved to a new home with a Goodman furnace. It seems to function well, but there is excessive wind noise coming through the ducts. Is there any way to quiet down this system? Closing the vent ducts just makes it nosier. It is hard to sleep at night when the furnace kicks on.
