    Work performed and not paid by the company
    I'm selfemployed and there's a two companies that I did some work for them and they have not yet paid me for my permit expediting service. What can I do ?

    This is very common with small business owners, how long has it been, have you sent them a 30 day, a 60 day and a 90 day late notice.

    It is sadly common for businesses to pay in 60 and 90 days or worst.
    So you have not mentioned how late these are. Next of course you can sue them if they just don't pay.

    Call up their accounts payable department and ask them when you might receive a check.
