    Glass sugar dispenser and moisture
I got a small glass sugar dispenser (Similar to the ones you see at some diners). It works great, except for one small problem. Even though I always pour the sugar into my mug before adding the coffee (Thus avoiding steam getting into the dispenser), it still seems to get a lot of moisture in it. Thusly, my sugar sticks and does not pour smoothly.

If it were a salt shaker, I would put rice in it. The hole is far to big for that. I've thought about a silicone packet, but those make me nervous. Any suggestions?

Get a sugar dispenser that is air tight. If your air is humid, nothing will keep it out of the sugar if it's a shaker.
