I am very confused had a unusual period last month which only lasted 3 days and was very light. I did a pregnancy test and got a faint positive so tried another test after a week and again faint positive. I have had all normal pregnancy symptoms tiredness, mood swings, sensitive breasts, swelling belly, nausea, lower back pain etc. but then this month had another unusual period again lasting 3 days and only light. Now pregnancy tests are showing negative. Can I be pregnant with a negative result or is my mind just playing games. I'm very confused any help would be great :)

Certainly not an expert, but I've always heard you can have a false negative on a pregnancy test, but never a false positive. I would think two positive tests would mean something. Possibly the negative is because hormones are screwy. Go to a doctor or health clinic and get tested there-that's something that's too important to just wonder/guess about.

I know its possible to have a period while pregnant although its not common it happens. With having two faint positives with negative afterwards I would go and see a doctor and have them do a blood test on you and explain the urine tests I have known people who have had the same issues with you with the urine at home tests and when they did a blood test and gave them the 100% sure result. If you have the symptoms and have gotten two readings (now I'm no expert) but I'm guessing your pregnant and with the way your hormones are acting with having a light period that that is what is messing up the urine tests. But definitely go to a doctor as soon as you can.
