    Hooking up a new thermostat but I only have 2 wires red and white...
    I am hooking up a new thermostat that has g, rc, rh, y/o,w/b, y1 and I only have 2 wires one red and one white.. help please??

    We need to know the type of furnace or boiler or heat pump and what stat you took out. We also need to know the brand and model of the new stat. You may have simple bought the wrong stat, they are not all interchangeable. Read post #2 here https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/heatin...eat-58313.html
