    Patents in Accounting
    Hi

    I am struggling preparing year end financial statements, Costs are going through the accounts some relating to legal fees for a patent, however the company have no idea what the patent is worth, so I cannot really bring a value into intangible assets. There is no other trading activity, the patent should have a value within the next financial year. Not sure what to do this financial year??
