    Tax-filing-status-im-h1-wife-h4
    H1b filing jointly for the second time with wife on H4

    I got married in Nov 2009, and my wife and 1 arrived here on Dec 2009.

    I have applied for tax returns in Jan 2010 jointly and my wife has ITIN number now.

    How to file the tax for the Second time. We don't have any kids. Do I get any tax return for this time.If so please help me

    You can and should file as resident aliens, which means you file Form 1040 or 1040A or 1040EZ (probably 1040EZ), plus the state return.

    AND you can efile this year (it is MANDATORY for the federal return if you use a tax service).
