    What will happen if I leave before I am served with an eviction?
    I am behind on my rent and want to just leave. Can they still get me with an eviction even though I left the apartment and wasn't served?

    What would be the use if you are already out, you would still be liable for the rent. But if you were not served, they can do so normally by posting a notice on your door.
