    Straight line method.
    How would I solve this problem ?
    If you have a cost of 11000 & salvage of 1000 for 5 yr -- use the straght line method to get the 6 year ?

    If your estimated useful life is 5 years and you are trying to get your depreciation for a 6th year, then your depreciation will be 0, because your asset will be fully depreciated by year 5.
