New house my dog keeps crying and attacked my friend don't know what to do
I have a 1 yr old husky he has always been friendly. His an oustside but I do let him stay with me inside when his good. I just moved to a new home he keeps crying when he doesn't see me so I stay near him but then my landlord came over and tried to pet him and my dog attacked him I don't know why so I had to keep my dog outside for the night he cried all night long. Is it normal for a dog to become violant like that? Should I be worried about him attacking my wife? Or me? How can I make him for comfortable in the new house?

This poor dog is scared! You've taken him away from his house and all his familiar territory!
I don't understand when you say you allow him inside "when [he's] good". What does that mean? Have you ever owned a dog before? It sounds like he's a yard ornament, not a part of the family.

Comment on Wondergirl's post
What I mean by inside when his good is that I have a small room and he gets very restless because he can't run around so he seems to like it a lot more outside and I can't have him running around the house because it is not my house I'm renting a room

Thanks for the explanation. Our Dogs experts will be around later and will help you figure out how to get your pup acclimated to his new digs.
Your dog is in a new place, and you know how dogs are -- the minute you leave, as far as he's concerned you will never come back again. Then, when you DO come back, even if it's only five minutes later, he greets you like you've been gone a whole week!

I'm going to ask this straight up... how much work are you prepared to put into this dog?
You have a potential disaster on your hands and without a lot of work and a lot of ongoing effort honestly you best option is to rehome to dog, for it's own good.
The dog most likely lashed out because it was frightened and confused as WG said, but if the dog was properly socialized in the first place it shouldn't have happened at all.
Now, to socialize the dog as this later stage in its life it will mean spending a LOT of time with the dog on both your property and taking it out places. I don't mean a casual stroll every few days, I mean several full hours of training every single day. And after that, it wouldn't be fair on the dog to go back to its usual routine of being left in the yard, you would have to continue exercising and training the dog several hours a day (something Huskies need anyway).
Huskies are a headstrong breed, let them get the upper hand and they will take it. You need to regain control of the situation now before it escalates.
