    Deaf high school football player
    My sister and I are desperately looking for a movie that came out about 1983 or so. It may have been a made for TV movie or special. It was about a high school football player who was deaf. It seems like the guy had a love interest in the movie. He had dark (black I think) hair. I don't remember a lot of details, and we were both associating it with being an afterschool special, but I have searched those and it isn't one of them that I can find! HELP??

    Thanks, but this isn't it. The story of the movie I'm talking about was based around the fact that the lead character (hs football player) was deaf. Thanks for trying though! I appreciate it!

    OK, but just to be sure, the lead character in this film is also a football player with a hearing impairment.
