I don't know how at this point to turn the spa off, but I thought I heard it running. I turned the thermostat down to 70 (it has a cover) thinking it won't kick in the heater. It's over 100' outside, so I'm thinking it won't kick in. Am I thinking right? I don't want to waste electricity.

I have a NOMA thermostat (model 52-2558-8). After reaching the programmed temperature, the furnace stays on without shutting down (8 degrees before I manually shut it off). Is this a thermostat issue or a furnace problem?
