Kitchen and laundry are no longer ran together
My kitchen sink and laundry area are together meaning laundry is directly below kitchen sink... However someone somewhere thought it would be cool to have laundry dum right into floor drain and kitchen shhots all the way across basment to main drain. Why would that be and I want to connect it back together... simple way and diagram?? Anyone

A picture sure would help. I know hat you mean about a washer draining into a floor drain but can't figure what "kitchen shhots all the way across basment to main drain" means. Can you describe it in more detail
