    Amana high eff. 80 won't ignite. Pushed dinog switsh reads: lockout check furnace. Have
    Furnace does not "light" have shut gas and power off several times following the instructions on panel. Nothing happens. I can turn the fan on it works. I pushed in on the panel switch and the led light fkashed only once. Reads: lockout check furnace.
    I noticed I could hear a low hum when I held the door swith in? No heat, no flame, plenty of propane. PS. HIGH WINDS yesterday...

    OK here is the answer to my own question. After spending hours on line and removing and cleaning heat sensor and removing and inspecting the igniter. Noticed that the low battery light flashing on the thermostate! Could not believe that would keep furnace from kicking on and lighting up.. but... guess what. Put in fresh batteries and boom she fired right up. Signed totally embrassed and ticked off. Hope someone else will benefit from this .
