I have been experiancing a light cramping sensation in my lower stomach, I look and feel very bloated, my nipples are dark purple, and I am constantly hungry. I am not due for a period for about 2 weeks. If I am pregnant I would only be a week along, I am aware that its very unlikely to have symptoms this early. I am 17 and I have fairly normal menstrual cycles. Me and my boyfriend went to a clinic yesterday to get a pregnancy test because we were concerned that I have been pregnant but still had my last period but the results came back negative. Im concerned because I know this feeling is not normal and I am not due for my menstrual cycle. I am not on any medications and we have been fairly irresponsible and using the "pull-out method." I would greatly appriciate any opinion. Thank you.

Unfortunately you are now playing the waiting game.

Pregnancy symptoms and premenstrual symptoms can be identical. You will now have to wait until it is time for your period. Tests are more accurate after a period is missed.

When that time comes make sure to use first morning urine and follow the directions on the box exactly, specifically the time frame in which to read the test.

From this point forward, I'm sure you have learned a lesson, and use protection every time. Preferably two or three forms of protection since there is no form of birth control that is 100% effective. Some of us here on the site have gotten pregnant using 2 AND 3 forms of birth control.

And no, "pull-out method" is not a form of birth control and pregnancy is still a possibility.
