    Child support for college student who gets it
    An 18 year old now in college in Oklahoma gets child support and lives in a college but the mother keeps the child support. Doesn't the child now get the support and not the mother?

    Depending on where you live and the terms of the dourt order... at 18 your support payments might end.

    Who is actually paying your college expenses? Unless YOU are borrowing 100% of th costs... its not unreasonible for the custodial parent to retain that to put forward for the portion they are picking up.

    Support is always paid to the custodial parent... not the child... or in this case... adult child.
