Application process for ssi, any advice?
Im currently going through the process of application, I applied about 4 or 5 months agoand just recently I've been given appointments for mental and internal exams, I've not been diagnosed as of yet but I know I have carpotunel, scoliosis, scoriasis, something with my ankle that I sprained years ago and I guess it never healed properly because I can't walk on it with too much pressure or for too long, I had a heart murmur when I was about 8-10 years old, and I have a learning disorder. Not only that but my eyesight is getting worse and worse, I've had glasses since I was in 6th grade and I'm 18 now, going on 19 this coming may 2011, is there anything I can do to further my chances, I know I'm disabled, my wrist disables me from lifting or moving anything whether I want to or not, takes away my ability to be on a computer for long periods and my ankle prevents me from doing anything strainuous or that involves me on my feet for a long period, I'm very anti social and look at a screen most of my day, though my eyes prevent me from even doing just that, I can't have a laptop because the screen would be too small for me to see, with or without my glasses, I can't read a book like I love to do because my eyes don't adjust back to reality for about 10 minutes after looking at the book for an hour or so.

To get to the point, is there anything I can do at this stage of the process to make my chances greater, since I know I would have to wait longer if they deny me.
