Rainsoft water treatment system stop working
I have a old model (AM24CT) of Rainsoft water treatment system. It stopped working a few month ago. I tried to manually regenerate several times, and it didn't work. There is an instruction on the front panel saying "turn 2 clicks to manually regenerate". I did that, the device was clicking, but still doesn't regenerate. Is there anything wrong with "electronic Brain"? Any help appreciated.

Clicking sound is from the yellow wheel (A.K.A. cam) hitting the micro switches. If the electric motor (drive motor item #17) is bad, the unit will not turn the two white regen cams. To verify if the clock motor is working, verify if the clock wheel maintains the correct time. My unit is 19 years old and RainSoft charged $115 to replace my three oiston o-rings (item #72) and shutoff tab (item # 13) because my unit was not sucking in the brine. Remember, all parts have lifetime warranty but the motor may not be covered.
