My period lasted 5 days (Arrived January 10th). Before the 4th day the blood very quickly became brown, mushy, and scant. My partner and I immediately resumed intercourse without any period residue mishaps. Until the 2nd or 3rd day. I assumed the dark brown discharge simply came out late but it has been reduced to light brown leaking. I still feel wet and is now accompanied by slight cramping. Been noticing sensations of butterflies in the stomach. Very minimal, dull headaches.

We are not entirely trying to conceive but leaving it up to chance - so we haven't been using protection. My period appeared to arrive a day late but it has always been irregular. Within the last two years bleeding has gone from being 7 days to 5 without incident. I have not experienced any residue mishaps like this. Anyone here have insight as to what these symptoms might mean? Or could it be nothing?

I'm exactly the same! I'm trying to conceive. My periods are always regular and on time. This month I was 1 day late and when I did come on it wasn't normal. I'm normaly medium to heavy flow lasting about 5-7 days! This time it was light to medium-ish, brown and only lasted 2 and a half - 3 days, on and offish. >.<

I'm so hoping it's a BFP ever since the loss of our little boy but I'm waaay too scared to get my hopes up!
