    Sperm Quantity Decressing
Hi, my problem is about my sperm quantity which is decreasing since about one year and a half. I hoped that it's happening because of my working late program and tiredness but now, I'm afraid of something else, maybe it's a disease or something else. Could you please give me an advice?

You also did not state your age, men often lose quanity of sperm as they get older. But there are various health issues that can cause it. Only a proper exam and your doctor may know

Condoms are often a good measurement instrument. Can you answer my question instead?

I had to understand why you thought your sperm count was decreasing before I answered, okay? Sheesh...

Anyway, The amount of ejaculate rarely if ever is a good measurement of the amount of sperm in such ejaculate. Men reproduce sperm axxproxmiately every 24 - 36 hours, where women are born with only a specific number of eggs and never produce more than what they are born with.

Unless you have a medical condition or on certain medications your sperm continue to reproduce.

Now a few non-medical things will lower sperm count such as wearing tight briefs instead of boxers as well as wearing tight pants, taking hot baths or sitting in hot saunas or hot tubs will decrease sperm count. Sperm need a constant temperature of around 98.6 F to survive. Any hotter and it lessens mobility and or kills the curren sperm. However, once those activities are dicontinued, they will come back in numbers.

This is going to sound stupid, but I heard that drinking too much Mountain Dew can lower it as well. If you drink this soda, maybe lessen the amount. --It's only want I've heard. However, certain foods and drinks could help or hurt your situation. Ask your doc what those are. Good luck!
