Oil tank servicing and ignition transformers replaced twice within 5 months
I have a 2002 Granby oil furnace that had the ignition transformer replaced in September 2010 and again January 16, 2011. Today (January 19, 2011) the furnace has started to blow cold air again, and I had to hit the reset button. MY question: When I have oil furnace guys clean my furnace in September should I be asking them specific questions on how they are servicing the tank or is my tank 2002 Granby 2mm oil tank deficient?

The insurance companies are raising the premiums on 2mm oil tanks supposed to be 2.5 mm. As a homeowner what am I supposed to check on my oil tank to make sure it is running optimally?
Last question, what is a better way of heating home if you don't have access to natural gas?

    Thanks

We have a 3 year old Bryant Oil Furnace, Model 369AAN series "C", that recently started burning up the 120/24 volt coil. The 120/24V coil powers the thermostat. We've burned up two coils within the past two days and am getting ready to repace it for the third time.
