Okay Im not usually into asking for advice, Im a bit of a bottler and I genrally am the one that listens to others peoples problems rather than fixing my own. Im 19 and I just feel so unwanted and sad all the time, I don't understand why, I feel so alone. And my parents (who are separated) have always told me they had never wanted me and wished

I had dropped dead, my mum used to beat me up I got involved in drugs I thought I was all clear of that now but now I feel as if its starting all again, like a downward spiral I came never truly come out of. I'm finding it hard to put it into words, but I am finally admitting that I need help, it would be very appreicated thanks xxx

It's no wonder you feel unwanted if you kept getting told that you were.

You have to understand that this is not because there is any fault in you that made you unwantable but that there was a serious fault with your parents.

It's easy for me to say that, and easy for anyone else to see, but maybe not so easy for you to hear and believe. If I were you I would look to get some counselling so that you really can learn to believe this for yourself.

In the meantime try and take it a day at a time. Try and say to yourself each day something like, 'my parents may not have been capable of showing me love but I AM A WORTHWHILE PERSON WHO DESERVES LOVE AND I LOVE MYSELF.' You might not believe your own words at first but stick at it, you learned to believe the wrong message from your parents now you have to overwrite it with the real truth.

My parents were dysfunctional, I had a schizophrenic mum and an alcoholic dad so I do know how it feels to always be on the receiving end of abuse and never get any positive words. This doesn't need to ruin your life, you can get past it, find happiness, and love yourself.

Feel free to come on here and share your feelings as often as you like if it helps but do look at getting some counselling too.

Can you Possibly hate and love someone at the same time?

Nobody ever likes me other than someone to have sex with. I find it upsetting and frustrating because when men brake up with their girlfriends they want sex from me. I don't like it I feel as if I'm second best or a last resort, just because Im single Doesn't mean I want sex, I just don't like being treated this way, what shall I do? I just want someone to love and care for me

I can't get to sleep recently,I have been awake for 4 days, my head hurts it's like every time I try to sleep, I stay up all night thinking about things. Sometimes I'll sleep fine my normal eight hours and then feel weak for the entire day and very very tired as if I'm going to faint, then the next day have 2 hours sleep and feel fine! I don't understand. Im quite scared please help x

I think a doctor can address your issues and hope it can help.
