    Late Period, Pregnant?
    I was wondering if anybody could help me I'm like 16 days late for my period I keep getting funny pains in my stomach I've taken like 4 or so pregnancy test and they've all came back negative!
    Ive been to see my GP, they wasn't very helpful.
    Does any one know what's up with me? Thanks

    Sometimes a period will be late or even skipped. It can happen even if it has not happened before, so that may be what is going on. Some women don't get a positive result on a pregnancy test for several weeks either.

    If you feel you have other possible pregnancy symptoms, you could try another test, being sure to follow the directions exactly. Or you could wait until next month and see what happens with your period. If still no period, and still negative on a urine test, go back to your gp and ask about having a blood test done. Some doctors won't do a blood test for pregnancy until you have missed two periods in a row.
