My oil furnace is ten years old and I replaced a thermostat two years ago and this past September I replaced the ignition transformer . I live in Canada with our wonderful four seasons but at times our Winter's can be cold. What is the most efficient type of heating and easiest to use for someone that is not so mechanically inclined? I was thinking of replacing my oil furnace with a wood pellet stove. I only have one floor and a crawlspace and at the present time we do not have access to gas furnaces just propane and oil.
