Can my boiler be descaled baxi conventional 10 -15 yrs old
I have a baxi 30rs boiler. Over 10 year old. Still fires up OK, but after about 50mins the boiler shuts off and pilot light also goes out. Gas engineer looked and said the thermostats were working OK, but he thought the reason was because the boiler might be scaled up causeing it to overheat and shut off. Is it poss to descale this boiler and if so app cost.

The flow of hot water has reduced and the water is very hot the cold water flow has not been affected what could the problem be
