When I was on library disability (through my pension plan) last year, the company told me I could not get both their payments plus SS disability, and would have to inform them if and when I applied for the latter. That tells me you would not be eligible for both at the same time, BUT, I may be wrong in your situation and for your pension plan.

Do you have a manual from the pension plan that gives you this information? Or perhaps there is a phone number you can call?
