    Never notified of court change date
    When we received the first summons from the court from attorney for debt collection company it was wrong venue we went to that court, judge ruled wrong venue.
    So they filed with the correct court within 7 days but we never received notice for this court. So we never appeared because we never received the date and time we were never served summons. I had all my paper work together because a year ago I had sent the debt collector papers to prove they own the debt they never responded know they pull this crap so we have a Judgment against us that is not ours

    Hello w:

    You go back to the court that awarded the judgment and file a motion to set it aside, based on lack of service... If the court rules in your favor, you start over in that court.

    Agreed with excon, you file to have the judgement set aside, based on improper service, This is fairly common with some of the collection firms
