    Expansion tank
Hey guys. Where would I install an expansion tank? I have radiators and don't have an expansion tank.

    Hi DavidAdrian...

I'd say anywhere on the main feed before any individual zones branch off. Most people will also install an air scoop with an air vent on top and plug the expansion tank into the bottom of that on the main feed before other zones branch off (top picture) but it is not required and can be installed off a tee fitting as in the bottom picture, OK?

If you install the air scoop with the vent and the expansion tank try to install it at the highest point on the main feed line if possible as air seeks the highest point and that is a great place for the air scoop.
