    Domiciliary Parent
    I have recently moved to Texas to live with my friend. I am the domiciliary parent with joint custody of my soon to be 17 year old daughter but she doesn't want to live in Texas with me she wants to live with her biological father in Louisiana is that legal if not what can be done?

    You file for change in custody and then she moves. She can also move prior so long as all the court papers are filed and your in agreement.

    You left out two very important facts. 1) Where did you move from and was it with the father's/court permission? 2) Do you agree with the move?
