    My internet provider changed my password. Since then I am not able to connect wirless
    I need to reinstall netgear wirless router. But the computer that I need to install it on is windows 7 and the software cd that I have is for vista

    The Vista software should work fine on Windows 7.

    A router really doesn't require any software to install. Once you plug it in, hook up the proper wires/cables, you can do all the setup in the router's configuration screen. Check your manual for instructions on how to access it.

    NK is correct. One doesn't NEED the software to setup a router, that is more of a guideline to the novices.
