    I'm wondering the name of the hose that supplys the coolant to the heater core

    It's just called heater hose. Go to your local auto parts store and buy bulk heater hose (e.g. Gates 28410 5/8” (16 mm) bulk hose)--it will be much cheaper than going to Nissan. Determine the I.D. before you go.

    Be sure to drain the radiator to a point below the heater core. Use care when removing the old heater hose from the core, in order to not damage the nipples. Cut the hose off in front of the nipples; then, take a utility knife and cut the hose around the nipples longitudinally. You should then be able to peel it off. TRICK: Coat the nipples with silicone dielectric grease or white lithium grease. It will make it easier to install and remove the hoses, in the future.

    Use Vise Grip and/or hose clamp pliers to remove the spring hose clamps. Access can be very restricted. Install new hoses, clamps, and refill with coolant, following the manufacturer's procedure to eliminate air from the system. Start engine, allowing it to reach normal operating temperature, and check for leaks.
