I have only luke warm water in one shower.
It is a Moen single handle faucet. I have replaced the cartridge but I still only get hot water for a few seconds and then it is still only luke warm.

Some of these Moens have an adjustible antiscauld feature built in (mine does)... are you sure this one isn't maladjusted if it has it?

    Hi Popecho...

Is this a new issue or has this always been an issue with this faucet?

Most likely, as Smoothy mentioned, the anti-scald device hasn't been set properly. However, if this is a new issue and you had plenty of hot water at one time only to have limited now (and before changing out the cartridge) then you may have another mixing valve that has gone bad... maybe?

Do your sinks have single lever faucets? Let me know.
