How to connect generator to run blower motor on Trane XE 80?
I have a manual transfer switch with provides a method of transferring 6 - 120 volt circuits to a generator. If I add the circuit that feeds the blower motor on my Trane XE80 to this unit, will that allow me to run the furnace when the power is off? This unit is used as the blower and gas piggy back for my heat pump, so will I need to provide power to the thermostat via another circuit or just put it in the emergency heat mode and let the blower run on the generator by connecting the blower circuit. Please advise... Thanks!

Squeaky Trane Blower Motor [ 1 Answers ]
