The vote for Speaker of the House did not go well for Madame Mimi... she got the majority of the Dems to vote for her of course. But it was far from unanamous .There were 18 Dems opposed and another 2 that voted present /did not vote. What she is looking at is a growing challenge to her leadership from Heath Schuler and the blue dog contingent .
Something to watch as the 2012 elections get closer .

If there is similar dissent in the rank and file in the Senate then perhaps some of the initiatives like repeal of Obamacare /or more likely repeals and revisions of Finreg will make it to the President's desk.
